I'm BAAAAACKKKK!

Wow! I have not posted in a while. Bummer. I guess being sick for almost a dang month really got to me. I am sorry to all that missed me! I am back and I will be a better blogger!

My cold turned into a sinus infection that lasted a few days. The soreness from it though, lasted about a week and a half. Vicodin was my best friend. It honestly felt like someone punched me in my cheek and even after the infection was gone it still felt like it was healing and just sore in the backround. I can't believe I was sick for so long. My poor husband and kids!

The Crazy Bunch are still just that, Crazy! Buddy had his kindergarten screening- didn't go as planned, but overall, I am ok. He had his Dr appt for his shots and they (the Dr) was pleased. Buddy has an audiology appt tomarrow. Both of his ears are troubled and I knew that, the Dr however did not listen to my concerns. WHATEVER! So hopefully if his ears get fixed, his speech will improve.

Miss Smiley is getting to be so much fun. She rings around the rosey and falls down all the time. She loves to read/look at books. She is starting to immitate animal sounds and copy words all the time.

Smarty Pants is still a smarty pants. He is still doing well in school. He is out today because of some teacher conferences and he was dismissed at 1:00 pm on Friday- Yep, we had another snow storm.

Our 3-6 inches we were supposed to get turned into 19 inches. HOLY MOLY! I know! How do you go from park visits and 70 degree weather to that not even a week later? How? Oh yea, because we live in SD....and global warming. I hear we have a 60% of a thunderstorm this Wednesday and Thursday we have a 50% of rain/snow. More snow-NOOOOO!

Lil Miss is doing better in her fit department. They haven't been so bad. She is eating a little better. She is on a coco puff kick right now. The Trix yogurt are being ignored now. I am certain that next week we will be addicted to something else and I will have to go to the store and stock up!

This weekend was the NFL draft and we had a draft party without kids. FuN! Actually, I ended up going to take a nap during this draft party. What kind of host am I?!!? I only did that though because we were going out afterwards, and I am so old. If I was to make it all night and close down the bars I needed to be refreshed.

The bars- same ole, same ole. It was fun, don't get me wrong. Just not as fun as it was, oh say, when I was 21-22 and only had one child. Doughman and I enjoyed ourselves though. It's nice to get out once in a while.
