The Crazy Bunch: Yet again, I am a slacker

But I did have a wonderful weekend! We had Buddy's 5th Birthday party on Saturday and of coourse it was windy so instead of having the whole thing at the park as planned, we had to have the cake/ice cream and presents over at my mama's house which is about 3 doors down from the park. It went well. He recieved a lot of what he wanted so that is always good!

Sunday Doughman and myself along with the crazy bunch went to the zoo with our friends and daughter. That was a learning experience to say the least. Lets just say the turtles were not shy! (See pic at end of post) Then after the park, we went and had the great taste of Mexico (aka- Taco Johns)- now that's some good eating there!

Monday- oh man, we had to be up quite early b/c Buddy had to be at the clinic by 7:15 for surgery. We waited for a while to get in but as soon as surgery had started it went quick. He did good. He was more afraid to go into the operating room than Smarty Pants was- but he did great. He woke up a lot quicker than SP too, but was really groggy.

When we left the clinic around 9:45 we went to pick up our new puppy. A cute little 4month old maltese we named Lito. He is fun, he is cute, he is a handful!, he is an ankle biter!! Pukey and Lito still are not the best of friends...but I am sure in time, they will be inseperable!

Lil Miss says she loves Lito, but her actions speak louder than her words. I really think she is deathly afraid of him. Maybe we should have named him Killer- what do you think?!!

Ok- are you ready now for the zoo picture?! Let me say that she is a screamer. I couldn't figure out what was screaming, but I soon found out. SP asked me what they were doing- um, they are making baby turtles. How cute- Turtle Relations!
