Yesterday when I woke up I asked Smarty Pants how he was feeling and he said fine. I felt his forkhead :) and he felt normal. Papa came and picked him up and took him to school. 20 minutes into school, the school called and needed someone to pick him back up. He had a fever of 100.2 and had the chills. Papa went and got him, brought him home, he slept ALL day. I told him whether or not he was feeling fine he still wasnt going to school on Friday. Oh well- we had a blizzard so school got called off anyway. YAY!! Snowday!
Miss Smiley is still by far the sickest. She is just so not happy. She hasn't been sleeping well. Pretty sure she feels like I did- just she can't have the meds I can and she can't communicate much. Poor baby.
So anyway....... I have been sick for 1 whole week. I have not been making much for supper, no cleaning, I have been doing laundry so Doughman has his work clothes but I have not been folding or putting away clothes. Thank GOD that I have a dishwasher or my dishes would be nasty.
Mine and Doughman's bedroom (which he got kicked out of for the past week) has become a community room. Every night one of the girls comes to sleep with me. If Miss Smiley keeps waking up, I bring her in with me. Lil Miss will just wake up in the middle of the night and come in and snuggle up with me. Never both of them together though. They must decide when they are in their room together who gets Mamas bed. I hooked up the Nintendo in there so Buddy had something to do while I was wasting away on the couch. Oh, but I did teach him how to spell and write his name this week! woohoo!
Today I decided I better sweep my kitchen. NASTY. I know that the Crazy Bunch has had toast, left-over mac-n-cheese, left-over rice, and m&m's this past week!
I am posting pictures so you know that I am not lying. My house turned into something that I can not stand. I was doing so well keeping it de-cluttered, clean, etc. and then I got sick. Please do not judge me by these pics. My home does not normally look like this. Like I have said before- I usually sweep 2-3 times/day. Not only 1 time per week!
